| In this paper, we introduce the condition of the disaster on the coastal area of Minnan,caused by Typhoon 9914, analyse the charaters of the typhoon, storm surges and mountainous waves and explain our services in the process of the marine for ecasting for the typhoonsurges and waves. It showes the great importance of marine forecasting in preventing and reducing marine disaster |
