西太平洋低纬地区东风波个例分析

摘要:
东风波可产生强烈的飑线和大风、暴雨天气,与低层热带扰动相叠加可迅速发展成为台风。本文利用ECMWF数值产品、卫星云图、高空气象探测及NECP再分析资料,详细分析了西太平洋一次东风波的结构特征及发生发展机制。结果表明:南半球越赤道气流是此次东风波形成的初始扰动条件,波槽前为正涡度,槽后为负涡度,属于发展较强的不对称涡旋模式。中低层暖湿和干冷空气团交界处与波槽位置对应较好,潜热释放可能是东风波维持并发展的一个重要原因。
The easterly waves can produce strong squall line, strong wind and rainstorm weathers. It can quickly develop into typhoon after mutually folding and adding with low layer tropical disturbances. This paper makes use of ECMWF numerical products, satellite images, high level atmospheric observation data, and NECP re-analyzed data, to analyze the structure characteristics of easterly waves and the mechanisms of occurrence and develop over the West Pacific Ocean. Some conclusions are given as follow: Southern Hemisphere crossing equator's airflow is one of the reasons for the early easterly wave's formation. The front of wave trough is with positive vorticity, after the back of trough is with negative vorticity, which should be one of the strong developing asymmetric vortex wave mode. The boundary between the warm wet air mass in mid-low layer and dry cold air is the most possible position of the wave trough's location. The release of latent heat is an important reason for the easterly waves to sustain and grow.
